 ActivNatal pain relief during pregnancy

In one small, compact unit we have included electrotherapy functionality, to help mothers cope with some of the painful issues surrounding their pregnancy.

The RELIEVE mode may be used as part of a pain management plan during pregnancy; for example:

  • Breast pain

  • Low back pain

  • Aching legs

  • Neck pain

  • Shoulder pain

DO NOT stimulate the uterus during pregnancy.

ActivNatal in Labour

Pre-labour preparation

Use RELIEVE mode before you leave home for the hospital or birthing centre. It will help to release the body's natural well-being hormone ß-endorphin and put you in a great place to begin the journey of new life.

If you know you are being induced, use RELIEVE mode as part of the preparation.

During Labour

Most obstetric TENS products have been designed for labour use only. Only one of the purposes of ActivNatal is TENS labour pain relief.

TENS is generally recommended for use from Pre-labour, through the whole of Stage 1 Labour, and up until Transition. At the commencement of Stage 1 Labour you change from RELIEVE mode to LABOUR mode - and then you ride the wave of each contraction, adjusting the intensity to suit your very own needs.

ActivNatal after childbirth

Pain relief

Before, during or after pregnancy - you have at your finger tips the best all round TENS therapy mode for general musculoskeletal pain relief - the RELIEVE mode.

Muscle rehabilitation

We have included a mode designed for muscle exercise which is intended for:

  • Strengthening the muscles of the pelvic floor and

  • Rehabilitating the abdominal sheet muscles - helping to repair any separation that may have occurred during pregnancy

For the whole family

Any member of your family with acute or chronic musculoskeletal pain can use the RELIEVE mode of ActivNatal for a combination of immediate and long lasting pain relief.
